About this opportunity

We have 4 full time permanent positions available based at our NIB Dental Care Centre in Hunter Street Sydney. This centre is one of our largest with 18 dental chairs offering a full range of specialist services including complex treatments, giving you the opportunity to expand your knowledge and advance your skills. 

As one of our Dental Assistants you will enjoy a variety of responsibilities ensuring no two days are the same! Your roster will rotate; Chair –side Dentist assistance, instrument sterilisation and reception duties, all while ensuring exceptional customer service to our patients and team work with our Dentists.

We offer a great 9 day fortnight roster, which includes some Saturday and evening shifts. 

About you

You are friendly, enthusiastic, dedicated and kind with an ability to easily build rapport with our patients.  Your excellent communication skills and ability to multitask make you a valuable asset in any team.

In addition:

• Ideally you will have a relevant Qualification, and/or experience as a Dental Assistant
• Current immunisation clearance documents for Hepatitis B, or willing to complete the 4-6 week process of getting these immunisations ( we offer financial assistance with this process) 
• Reception skills and experience
