About this opportunity
This is a newly created permanent full time position which is based at our Group Head Office in East Maitland. In this role, your main aim is to ensure the success of our growth phase, with our intentions to grow from 91 Dental Centres to 250 over the next few years, whilst making continuous business improvements and ongoing negotiations thereafter.
You will be responsible for the enhancement of all procurement efficiencies and must excel in negotiations, Vendor relationship management and all sourcing related activities. In addition to this you will also be accountable for:
- Managing insurances across the business to mitigate risk
- Management of lease contracts and renewals as well as all dental centre maintenance
- Supplier base management and measurement including quality, price and capability
About you
To succeed in this role you will need to be personable and business savvy and constantly looking for intelligent, out-side the box ways we can reduce costs so it can be funneled to Dentist and Customer Focused initiatives. In addition to this you will need to have:
- Degree Qualification in an appropriate field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Comprehensive knowledge of the supply chain processes, fundamentals of purchasing and contract execution
- High level written and verbal communications skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate optimal commercial outcomes for the business
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills with an eye for detail
