At Pacific Smiles Group we like to promote from with in and offer permanent contracts where we can. Due to this and our low staff turnover, we have multiple centres in the Geelong region that need casual staff to backfill those who have progressed to Management roles and because our practices have grown! These include; Drysdale, Leopold, Ocean Grove Torquay and Waurn Ponds. The more available you are to work at a few of our Centres, the more work we can give you!

As one of our Dental Assistants you will enjoy a variety of responsibilities ensuring no two days are the same! Your roster will rotate; Chair –side Dentist assistance, instrument sterilisation and reception duties, all while ensuring exceptional customer service to our patients and team work with our Dentists. Our centres are well run and offer a large range of general and complex dentistry.

About you

You are friendly, enthusiastic, dedicated and kind with an ability to easily build rapport with our patients.  Your excellent communication skills and ability to multitask make you a valuable asset in any team.

In addition you will have:

• A relevant Qualification, and/or experience as a Dental Assistant
• Current immunisation clearance documents for Hepatitis B, or willing to complete the 4-6 week process of getting these immunisations (we offer financial assistance with this process) 
• Availability for a variety of shifts including some weekend work which is fairly rotated where needed.
