About the Role

We're on the lookout for an inspiring and proactive Practice Manager (official title: Centre Leader) to join our Maroochydore centre. In this leadership role, you'll work closely with our Northern Queensland Regional Business Leader and a strong support team to ensure our practice thrives – from daily operations to long-term growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Centre Leader, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Team: Manage and support Dental Assistants and Receptionists, ensuring exceptional care and smooth operations.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor expenses, manage budgets, handle invoicing, and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Enhancing Patient Experience: Uphold a gold standard in customer service, ensuring every patient feels welcomed and cared for.
• Compliance and Safety: Maintain adherence to medical and privacy regulations while ensuring our practice operates within policy frameworks.
• People Development: Recruit, train, and nurture a motivated team, fostering career growth and collaboration.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with patients, Dentists, suppliers, and health funds.
• Performance & Rostering: Drive the achievement of KPIs, manage rosters, and align staffing to business needs.

Your Skills and Attributes

You are a dedicated and true management professional who wants to utilise their capabilities to add value to our business and build a career with us.

• Dental experience essential for this position as it is a smaller clinic requiring hands on clinical assistance as needed and knowledge 
• Leadership skills including the ability to motivate others and build relationships quickly
• Demonstrated experience in effective people management including coaching, mentoring, performance management and recruitment
• Solid business and commercial acumen with experience in working to set targets, KPI's and rostering
• Ability to lead a longstanding resilient team 
• Prepared to lead a high performing hub
